No cookies
akilabs.tech does not set any cookies, and we do not load third-party analytics, advertising or social media scripts. That is why you don't see a cookie banner.
Fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting this site doesn't send your details to font or content providers.
Browser storage used by the AI assistant
When you use the "Ask Aki" assistant, your browser keeps the conversation in session storage so it isn't lost if you move to another page on our site. This storage:
- is only created when you choose to use the assistant;
- stays on your device and is never read by us;
- is deleted automatically when you close the browser tab.
This storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so it doesn't require consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You can clear it at any time from the assistant's menu or your browser settings.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, we will prefer privacy-friendly, cookie-free tools. If we add anything that needs your consent, we will ask before it runs and update this page.
